Abstract:This paper I would like to present my observation of the paradigm shift in design education in the context of globalization and the influences of new technology. New technology and work processes seem to bring about a homogeneity which has also an effect on the socio cultural environment not forgetting the loss of local specific cultural values. There seems to be a loss or neglect of aesthetics or influence of new visual languages. |
